1. Set the scale and draw the wall opening

Add an arrow parallel to the sliding direction. A conventional slider should not be represented only by the arc normally associated with a swinging leaf.
For a pocket door, show the cavity and the leaf's parked extent inside it. For a surface-mounted leaf, show the wall-face space that remains occupied when the door is open.
4. Add the door reference and separate dimensions
Give the opening a reference, such as SL-01, and connect it to the project schedule. This example label is an organisational choice, not a universal naming standard.

5. Check the drawing against the room
Add nearby furniture, cabinet movements, handles and controls that affect the door. Confirm that the parked leaf or pocket does not conflict with the intended layout.
Review the route through the opening and any required approach space using the actual project requirements. A clean symbol does not by itself establish an accessible or compliant doorway.
